Offering Music, Acting and Dance tuition as well as private lessons in Singing, Piano, Drums, Guitar, Bass Guitar, Sax, Clarinet, Flute and Acting.  Situated in Bispham, Blackpool, Chris Higgins Music, Theatre & Dance is the premier Theatre School in Lancashire and the only full aspect Theatre School on the Fylde coast, offering tuition in performance as well as industry recognised qualifications in technical theatre and media an addition to offering tuition and a Recording Studio and Rehearsal Studio for hire.        

Chris has been teaching music for over 24 years and has taught beginners to professional recording artists.  Specialising in Musical Theatre and modern Pop/Rock music, Chris has worked with artists getting them ready for auditions for professional work, X-Factor, Britains Got Talent and many more headline shows, such as Fame, Cats, Rock of Ages, Jesus Christ Superstar and We Will Rock You.  Settling now in neighbouring Poulton-le-Fylde, Chris is hoping to continue his high quality teaching and musical services here in Bispham, Blackpool.

Still performing himself and working as a professional Musical Director, Chris is aware of the need for solid technique and a good level of theoretical knowledge to help you move forward as a performer, be it as an amateur, as a hobby or as a career as a professional in music or theatre.

Having worked on many shows as a professional performer and also as a Musical Director, Chris is well placed to impart years of knowledge and assist you in your goals big or small.

Chris Higgins Music, Theatre & Dance offer graded exams in popular music through the Rock School syllabus and LCM (London College of Music) for Musical Theatre as well as LAMDA grading for acting and we are proud to announce that we are now the recognised public exam centre for LCM examinations as well as Rock School in the Blackpool area.

Josh is our Band Expert and is working with our private Guitar, Ukulele and Banjo students as well as our students in the Band Sessions, helping them to understand the real work that goes into being in a band and how to perform successfully.

Our Dance team of Jess and Lucy are both highly experienced professional dancers with years of competitions at the highest level and contracts all over Europe for major production companies and Disney!  They both offer fun, friendly and high quality teaching in our bespoke dance studio, featuring industry leading Harlequin Dance Floor to ensure that all the students are looked after physically during their training.
